It has been a while since my last meth lab run-in. I guess I was due. Thursday, I was out working and came to a nice looking house. As I knocked on the door I saw someone run by the open window. I heard pots clanging and then air freshener being sprayed. I thought he might be smoking pot or something. He came to the door sweating and very nervous. I told him what I was there for and he seemed to calm down. I measured the front of the house and started down the side. About then, he came out the back door with what looked like a bottle of weed killer "I'm not for sure what it was. " and a old pot. He jammed the bottle down in a brush pile and poured out the stuff in the pan. I called a county cop that I am friends with and told him about it. I thought they would put him under watch, NOPE! Thirty minutes later there were four cops knocking on his door. He wouldn't come to the door so they went and investigated the brush pile. They couldn't find the chemical bottle, so they left. I was still in sight of the house. I spent the rest of the day looking over my shoulder. I know that cracked out loser knows it was me. Why else would they go look in the brush pile. He was probably hiding in the house watching. Best part of the story, I get to go work that area Monday. Anyone have a bullet proof vest?
